How to remove WAT?

Another way to say it is “How to stop Windows from telling me that its not genuine?”
Well first things first, I STRONGLY suggest you to go and buy the original key or disc. Because Microsoft has put a lot of effort and workmanship in producing Windows 7. If we don’t buy the original key, they would eventually run out of resource to bring out an even better version of Windows in the future.
The reason this article was written is for those of you who need a little extra time before you could go and buy the key – for whatever reason(school project, business presentation, etc.). The steps you’re about to learn will make the WAT Notification disappear permanently unless you install any update from Microsoft that reinstalls WAT in your system or any other update that functions similar to WAT.
Download WAT Remover here: WAT Remover 2.2.8
Watch this video to see how to do it:
Enjoy…

    1. haha..you need to deactivate your antivirus 1st.....this program goes into windows core files...so in the point of view of an antivirus software....yeah its dangerous....but trust me...its not harmful at all...you can reactivate your antivirus once you've removed WAT and run a complete system scan....to remove anything left behind...:) I know its a late reply but I hope other visitors of this site will understand this :)

    1. You have to deactivate your antivirus. Of course antiviruses pick this tool to be a trojan. It however doesnt do harm to your computer. Goodluck

  7. Looked shady, downloaded anyways. This definately has some viruses with it. It tried installing 5+ more programs "for free", and the actual removeWAT failed. I had the file stopped and cleaned (deleted). So, in short, VIRUS.
