Continuous Ink Supply System(CISS) How does it work?

 

Continuous Ink Supply System(CISS) is now a common sight. But it will void your warranty.

It is meant to provide a continuous and cheap printing alternative than the conventional cartridge replacement method. One refill and it can print a thousand pages!

But there is a downside to it, your ink absorbing sponge within the printer may get filled sooner than usual or an air bubble with the CISS may cause it not to work. To use the CISS without hassle one must understand how the system works, then you can work out a solution. Ok, now that you’ve understand what CISS does and some of it downside watch this simple video to understand how it works. It might be confusing but I’ve simplified it as much as I could. Einstein once said “Everything should be as simple as possible but not any simpler”.

This piece of information is VERY RARE(How CISS works). I’ve googled and searched far and wide but couldn’t find a reliable answer.That’s the reason I wrote this article and included the video.
